Challenges East Lansing is a live adventure room game in East Lansing, Michigan. Teams of 2-10 people are locked in a room for one hour using only their minds to find the key to escape. The differently themed rooms have puzzles, clues and mysteries that you have to solve to find a way out. Challenges East Lansing is great for everyone!

Absolutely. Adventure rooms are a very different activity than you have ever experienced. If you are looking for something new to do in East Lansing, this is for you!

You do not need to be a rocket scientist to escape (although it would probably help your chances). About 50% of groups will escape and some rooms are harder than others. Check out our ADVENTURES page.

You are completely safe, and it is not scary* (depending on who you choose to bring in your group). All rooms are monitored by our team at all times during gameplay. If you need to get out you can, but there is no reentry. Make sure you use the restrooms before the game starts.

All of our adventures are challenging and very fun. You can check the different adventures out here. Once you play one room you will want to beat them all.

Our rooms can accommodate 2-10 people, depending on the room. We have a minimum of 2 players for most rooms.

Don’t worry about being paired with people you don’t know. All of our rooms are private for just your group.

NOTE: The Haunt is a public experience.

We recommend that children be over the age of 10 due to the level of puzzles and challenges. Anyone in the room will need to be a paid participant. Any players under the age of 16 must be accompanied by someone 18 or over.

That’s ok! Most rooms are well lit and are quite large. You do have the ability to leave at any time. Please remember that no refunds will be given to players that choose to leave the room early.

Our normal games run Monday through Friday evenings, Saturday afternoon and evening and Sunday afternoon and early evening. We do open early for special events or corporate groups. Shoot us an email via our contact form if you have an event you would like to plan.

The cost is only $29.95 per person for all Adventures except the Haunt which is $31.95. A small credit card fee will be added at checkout. Head over to the booking section, choose an Adventure and pricing will be available there.

Since this is a live experience we are unable to offer refunds. Please double check the date and time when you are booking a room and when you receive your confirmation email. If you have a change in plans, please contact us at least 48 hours prior to your booking and we will work to reschedule your group. Any time changes within 48 hours of your game time may incur a $20 rescheduling fee.
